Emergency mission Indonesia

The unfortunate events in Sulawesi yesterday (28th of September) have already cost the lives of many in Indonesia. The earthquake was of a magnitude of 7.5 and was the unfortunate cause of a devastating tsunami. The need for psychological help in this area is highly necessary: A study covering the psychological aftermath of the 2004 tsunami in Indonesia showed that even 2 years after the event, people who hadn't even encountered the wave directly still had the risk of being diagnosed with PTSD by the mere sound of destruction the wave made. Our team is starting to reach out to local organisations and offering our help. We will let you know about any developments.
